How To Claim An Anxiety Ring On The NDIS

The NDIS have recognised mental health is a huge problem in Australia with 1 in 5 of us experiencing mental health issues at some stage. Further to those stats, comorbidity of depression, anxiety and other disorders is high for both adults and children diagnosed with ADHD and ASD.

How To Claim Spinner Rings On The NDIS

If you wish to use your NDIS funding to purchase Hey Luna products we'd love to assist you in this process. Hey Luna is not a registered NDIS provider at this stage, however if you are self-managed or plan managed you may be able to use your NDIS Plan to purchase low cost sensory equipment if you have funding for Assistive Technology or Consumables.

If you have funding in either budget, you can purchase sensory equipment without a quote providing the item:

  • Is considered “reasonable and necessary”
  • Is related to your disability
  • Costs less than $1500
  • Is not considered to be “high risk”

We recommend you seek advice from your plan manager or support coordinator prior to purchasing if you are unsure.

How to claim Hey Luna products with the NDIS

If Self-Managed

There are two options:

  1. Order from the website as normal & pay upfront using our payment options

You submit your invoice to NDIS yourself.  As we receive payment upfront we send the items out immediately.  Let us know you need an invoice by adding some comments in the Cart or drop us a line at info@heyluna.com.au 

  1. Let us know the items you want to purchase so we can generate an invoice

If you prefer to claim funds prior to purchasing let us know the list of products and the details required for the invoice a info@heyluna.com.au We will send you a TAX Invoice via email so you can claim it via the NDIS online portal. Once you are reimbursed by the NDIS, you can order from the website as normal and pay with your preferred payment method. =

 If Plan Managed by an Agency

In this case, the Plan Manager/ 3 Party Agency pays us directly for resources.

Email us at info@heyluna.com.au with:

  • the items you would like including style, colour and size.
  • name & NDIS number to be included on the invoice
  • delivery address and name & contact phone number 
  • email address of your plan manager to forward the invoice to
  • we will also email you a copy

As soon as payment is received, we post the items to your preferred address and send you the tracking number.
